HOMELESS NIGHT CHALLENGE

WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE?

It is an annual community fundraiser to help Hope Awaits Ministries with the financial cost of working with homeless men in our area. They are a charity that is fully supported by donations, and would never be able to continue their work without you and other like minded people. Your support makes a monumental difference in helping to restore the broken lives of the men in need.
Funds are raised in two ways:
1. Teams of four to five people:
     A) Reach out to their friends and community to ask for donations.
     B) Challenge others to form teams.
     C) Participate in fun games and challenges.

The team that raises the most money in donations each year will have their name added to our annual fundraising plaque. Separate awards can also be earned for “Best Shelter Built” and “Team Participation“ for the most points earned during the challenge.

2. Business sponsors generously make donations in advance and we proudly display their logos on our web site, posters and on banners at the event location.

You don’t have to be part of a team to help. You are more than welcome to come and watch the teams participate and enjoy the day. There will be a large silent auction, live music and food available for the public, participants and volunteers to enjoy.

What to Bring
As this is a fun outdoor event, we ask that you dress for the weather.
We also recommend that you bring a lawn chair and some sunscreen with you.
